  While on holiday in Mittagong NSW, I ran into difficulties with my vehicle. It was a motor home, and so it was our transport, and accommodation. Fortunately I was close to Bowral Auto Care. This is a very busy workshop but Luke, one of the mechanics, offered to have a look at it as soon as he could. Scott then got involved and after running some tests, gave me the bad news that my engine had seen better days. Scott did a lot of work researching the availability of engines, costs, timeframes, and providing me with options. Scott allowed me to keep the vehicle on site while I had to come back to Melbourne. If not for the support the team at Bowral Auto Care I would have been in real trouble 1000km from home. I would have no hesitation recommending Bowral Auto Care to anyone who is looking for a professional team to manage their vehicle maintenance and repairs. Their attitude and honesty was very reassuring, and at a time when I really needed some help. Even the workshop was spotlessly clean. These days individual care, attention, and consideration is not always as forthcoming as we would like, but my experience this company is built on it.

  Scott, the manager quickly diagnosed the problem, along with mechanic Alex. We had a tyre in process of exploding! So glad we stopped to have it looked at.

  A couple of days ago I noticed one of my headlamps was out so stopped into Bowral Auto Care to see if they had a spare globe. Scott luckily had a spare globe and fitted it for me. While under the hood he noticed that my radiator had a leak and lucky he did, the connector had cracked, he ordered the new radiator and advised me not to drive, however I had to get back to my campground so risked it and yep, the radiator hose came off completely. So I got towed back to Scott who went out of his way by finding the time to install the radiator even though he was fully booked. He couldn’t have been more helpful and made a stressful situation a lot easier. They even offered to look after my dog while I went to hire a car. He gave me a list of advisories including something that I had noticed a year ago but my own mechanic in Sydney said he couldn’t find. Great guy who clearly takes pride in his work, great attention to detail! Thanks Scott!

  DISHONEST!! Abit more than a year ago I got my car serviced here. The service for my ford Fiesta cost $600 after which they told me i needed my steering belt replaced asap. I was about to move up to Brisbane so i asked Scott if it could last the drive as i didnt have $700 dollars to replace the steering belt at the time. He said, "Ahh i'd recommend you come back here before you go, don't leave it"

  So i drove to brisbane without replacing it. When i saved up an extra $700 i went to a mechanic in brisbane. When they assessed it they told me my steering belt was a-ok. everything was fine infact my car was very healthy.

  We have been taking our cars to Bowral Auto Care for a number of years. I have found Scott and Michelle and their team to be helpful, reliable and trustworthy. Old parts are always presented and work is always discussed. If any problems are found a call has been made to explain and gain authorisation before going ahead. They have been very accommodating in fitting us in and prompt in doing the jobs to a high standard. Highly recommend them.
