  Replaced gas converter a reconditioned one apparently that cost $850. I did request a proper check over so there was no other issues. Was told it was all good. Two days later broke down again losing a weeks work. Had to be towed to a garage in Mitchell which the mechanic insured me that a reconditioned converter should have only been around $450. Then only to be told the problem was a cracked solanoid that was on the replaced converter . Did call up but was told didn't notice the crack although they were the ones that replaced it. Also $850 was the right price. Had intentions of making this my regular mechanic but not after this fiasco.
